this is a great product. i installed the aux-in pro ipod kit into a 2007 wrx (with a 6-cd disc changer from a 2006 wrx). it took about 1.5 hours to install and it was a straightforward installation by following the directions on the website. as a bonus, i discovered the sound from my iphone is much, much better than what the cd player can produce. my only regret is not installing this sooner. i've tired out several different wireless transmitters and even a wired fm transmitter and there is no contest with this kit. this is a perfect solution if you want to keep the stock head unit and have an aux-in line.
