I just purchased this item and it was shipped the next day and received within a few days, anyways the fast shipping is a plus, but the main thing is how easy and how well it works on my Outback, i had an FM modulator that worked ok but you could still hear the alternator noise and sometimes it just did not want to work. After installing the Pro Kit, i have no complaints, it works flawlessly, i am just upset now that i did not buy it sooner.
There is one problem that i have had since day one though, when the car is cold in winter mornings, the cd player always skipped until the car warmed up, it did it with regular cd's so it is a factory radio problem (does it happen to anyone else). Reason i mentioned this is because now that i have to play a silent cd, the problem is very noticeable.
Overall, i am happy with my purchase, it is working properly for me and so now i am even thinking of replacing the factory speakers.
