The instructions were phenomenally good. It took me only a couple of hours, deliberately moving slowly because of so many mistakes made in my youth when taking apart car consoles. Particularly with a manual transmission, it is surprisingly easy to get the stereo out. I can now play podcasts in my 2005 Outback! Yippee!
